Our goal

Offer educational opportunities to the Latino community, especially English classes, as a means of integrating the emergent Hispanic population into local culture, thus empowering individuals to participate fully and productively in our community. In addition, as with all past waves of immigrants, the Hispanic community brings with it rich traditions and values that enrich and enhance Evansville’s existing culture and EDUCA strives to serve as an avenue for cultural interchange.

Our vision

Help the Latino community live, grow, and participate, without language barriers or intercultural misunderstandings, in the local community, drawing a clear path of growth and development through educational and cultural exchange.

EDUCA is a not for profit corporation in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EDUCA is dedicated to empowering individuals through education. It operates in southwest Indiana and northwest Kentucky and primarily serves the emerging Latino population.
